Hey check out these cool end tables me and my friend made.

So this really cool dudefriend of mine has his own screenprinting studio in his basement called Mousesaw, and he makes some pretty kickass stuff. About a year ago he invited me to work on designing a pair of end tables with him, and just this weekend we finally finished them up and shot photos. It was the most time and effort I've ever put into a project by far, but they turned out pretty awesome I think. The tops of the tables also light up, but I wasn't able to get photos of that yet since I shot these during the daytime!

Krakaboom, yeah he's gonna try to sell them. . . I'm not sure either of us know how to price them or where/how we're going to sell them, but I think he's planning on trying to get them into some local galleries first.

Kookaberry, I do kinda want to keep it but I also would be happy to sell it to someone who wanted it too. Plus my buddy prolly won't be able to find a buyer for a little while so at least I get to hold on to 'em till then.

jublin, they're all screenprinted, and it was a rather hellish/fun process to do. . . my design was over 100 layers on one plane, but since the table has four sides I had to print each layer 7 times (4 times for each sides and each of the 3 drawer faces separately). It was kind of tricky to make all the sides match up and if you examine it real close in real life you could see that there's quite a few tiny little fuck-ups. . . there were a couple times where the ink got smeared or wet or patchy too so I had to double or triple coat numerous layers sometimes! After they were all printed, my buddy's friend Tall (the guy who actually constructed the tables) put on the lacquer and ta-da!
