So, I was supposed to go trick or treating with some of my team mates. They all had excuses as to why they couldn't go trick or treating with me. However, today I got one of the lamest excuses ive ever heard.
I asked one team mate, "P," if she was trick r treating and she said definitely. I asked her if I could go with her and the other team mates who were goin with her and she said sure. We had a long chat discussing how we were gonna meet up. I gave her my cell # and she told me she'd call me with the plans. We were supposed to go at 7; it was 6:30 and I was completely dressed, but she hadn't called. I called her and after one other girl picked up (room phone) and giggled, "p" picked up. I asked her if we were still going at 7. She then replied, "oh, im so SO sorry Lisa! But apparently, we're EXHAUSTED (said in a fake and exaggerated way). we're just toooooooo tired from running today!" Well, today was a very easy run for practice, and p barely ran at all. There was no way they were "EXHAUSTED." She said it in the fakest, most chiding way ever, like I was some gullible moron. #%$##$%. I had to go alone. So, tell me, what was the lamest excuse someone gave you about not being able to do something...or excuse in general?
