The colors aren't the same on the shirt?!

about Paper Tiger

So, I got my paper tiger tee in the mail yesterday... but instead of the colors being neon pink, aqua, and neon yellow, the colors were red, royal blue, and normal yellow.

Is this a mistake? I was kind of disappointed when I opened up the package to see this :(

if you look at the design, pink is a color, a lighter blue is a color, and the yelow is brighter. there is no pink on my shirt and the blue and yellow dont look as bright. perhaps i should be saying, "the colors are different"

the design is simple cmyk, it's not about light blues or reds or whatever. It's obvious that the cmyk was just 100% of each.

until i do that, someone has already posted a pic of herself and it looks like hers is like mine: red, yellow, and blue.

I'm not bananaphone, but CMYK is the four color that most printers uses: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, K is for Black.

yeah, judging by this gallery pic (below) it's definitely not a 100% CMYK print

It's very possible the colors in the photograph on the product page were adjusted. That's definitely not CMYK.

ohh it definatly doesnt look as great as the product picture. its very plain in the gallery pic...yeah id return it too if you arent happy.

Think you might want to ask Hadaloo and Nora/Helladelightful about this. Nora's one of the models.

I ordered this too and I hope it still looks as good when it gets to me, I'll know when it gets here and I try it on.

hmm yeah that "magneta" is a little off. Seems alot more desaturated.

"magenta" indeed. as a serious tiger lover, im gonna keep it for that reason, not cause i like the color change. i just wish it had the colors advertised...thought i'd get what was being advertised, ya know? i just hope one of the models or staff could tell me why this happened.

Uh, the one Nora is wearing is truly that color, I know because I took and did not retouch that picture. And I doubt courtney was part of some evil underhanded color twisting plot, although I do know she retouched.

i just realized the the inside-tag-print is the magenta/pink it's supposed to be... i can clearly see it's not the same as the red. Maybe they did misprint some shirts :(

I never adjusted the colors to look more CMYK in my product photos. The colors on the shirt are exactly the way they appear in real life.

I retouched the models skin (as I do with all my photos).

But like Hadley said, I'm not behind some evil underhanded color twisting plot.

Maybe you should go outside and try photographing it in natural light.

mine for sure is primary colors, not neon. dragan said this earlier that the inside printed tag IS a different color than the actual design-no matter what light. i definitely don't like it as much as neon though...

it's the yellow light. Well we all agree that natural light rocks and nothing can ever replace it.
