i am in senior seminar right now, and the class is art and ethics.
i have to write a 20 pager. woot.
my topic is along the lines of censorship, self censorship, what's acceptable/unacceptable in entertainment media such as TV, music and movies, and what a conservative christian standpoint is, and what the secular standpoint is.

the part i need help on is the secular view of this whole thing.
basically, tell me your opinion on what is ok and not ok in the media. this includes drugs, sexuality, language (cursing, racism, etc) and violence.

if you can, tell me what believe what you do, and whether what you believe is applicable to everyone, or just yourself. do you have a different set of standards for yourself when compared to standards you set for friends,family,older people,children?

also tell me why you might have certain standards, and what you base your moral principles off of.

this paper is not me arguing a point, its me discovering, discussing, and comparing different viewpoints.

!!!I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO WRITE MY PAPER FOR ME! I just have this section i need help on, and most of my friends are christian, so they can't give me a different point of view.

Yes, I filled my gas tank to the brim (my mom gave me money hooray!).
$3.01/gallon x 16 gallon tank = approximately $50 bones. That's so much!
