for me its the love story in mondern times.
he gets a job as a night time security guard, and him and his homeless girlfriend live it up in a department store amidst the depression.

i love chaplin because hitler loved him so much that he copied the moustache, only for chaplin to turn around and smack him in the face with "the great dictator". that is so hardcore.
