Nowadays I'm a painter, blogger, designer, and community organizer. Raised throughout the Ozarks by hippies, artists, and church-folk, I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock & roll.

I'm a semi-crunchy young mama raising an incredibly bright and beautiful little girl. I gave up freelancing and single motherhood, settled down with a good man and started a blended family and a 401k. I've got a white picket fence, a closet full of pencil skirts, a raging chai latte habit, 4 kids under 7, and every-other weekend off.

I'm a firm believer that sleep is for suckers and frequent spontaneous vacations are the key to success.

I'm still rather Southern, young, and a little rowdy for good measure. I choose my wine by prettiest label and live on good loving.

I haven't lost my taste for whiskey or adventure, but have developed an affinity for fake eyelashes & Twitter.
