• i see people are getting hung up on the background color. the composition is great, but perhaps that concern would be addressed by changing the background color, so that there is less contrast between it and the shirt color. maybe use a tint of the shirt color. again, nice work.

• lovely. you employ a technique i love to see [and use a lot, myself], which is to let the color of the surface on which you're working play a very prominent role in the composition. also, really liked the thoughts behind your work, as you expressed above.

• inspired by the lovely track of the same name. both the song and the design are a bit dark, but pleasantly so; and both exploit the beauty of repetition.

• constructively, i do agree that the stars are somewhat detrimental -- not necessarily their presence; but, rather, their style. would be nice to see them in the same great drawing style you used for the hangstronaut. still, very good design.
