if your design doesnt score a 2.90 or higher, it prob wont get printed.

I dont think that it has a very good chance of winning, but it also has to do with how many people said they would buy it, not just the overall score.

I think there's copyright issues with that one. You don't want Disney to get all crazy on your ass for using pumba.

And even if not, it's a rather bland design. Sure, it's a decent concept, but there's no color or anything particularly eye-catching about it.

sometimes the score doesnt matter and as art is hard said, it matters alot on how many people said they would buy it. Threadless has printed shirts that scored much lower than 2.90, but very few...it is possible, but unlikely like xiv said. It depends on if threadless will think itll sell or not...and if you got a hihg score, that says something.

Heheh yeah my Red Cloud Sunset got a 2.43 and there has been even some other printed designs that have gotten a lower score.. around a 2.1 I think (sorrow). Anyways you really can't tell because there are several variables involved. First, it depends on the amount of people that said that they would actually buy this shirt and the credibility behind that. In example, if a person who has around 20 threadless shirts in his closet and for every design who he has voted as "I will buy" has bought, he has a greater weight than many others. Two, scores can vary and sometimes you can get really good scores but it can take up to a year until your design is chosen for printing. I received the red cloud sunset mail telling me they wanted to print it around a couple of months after i submitted it. On the other hand, a better design of mine "hungry hippos" got a better responce from the public with many 5´s and $. With that I recieved a mail a couple of weeks after it finished scoring. So who at the end actually decide on all this are the people who work in threadless. Its all up to them, they are the ones who have the final say in all of this. Nothing is quite certain, I can tell you that! Ive seen designers who have gotten scores over 3s and still havent had their design printed.

Hope I cleared some doubts. Good Luck,
