sweet thrift store finds

i saw these shirts at goodwill today and thought the $1.25 each was worth it even though the orange shirt is probably way too small for me to ever wear.

what cool things have you found at thrift stores?

maltz, a shirt from amherst made its way to my town's goodwill. it was kind of boring though; i think it was just for a charity run or something.

the weirdest thing was that someone donated a tee that a family member must have given him/her (it was really difficult to determine the gender as the person had short hair). it was a pic of the person's face behind jail bars. i don't understand why you would want someone walking around town with your face plastered on their shirt.

but not tonight, as i am desperately trying to finish a paper and then study for a quiz. perhaps tomorrow, though. i'll bust out the buttplug and loosen myself up in preparation.

(man, i wonder if others ever think we take this too far. hahaha they're just not good enough for our love)

I love the thrift store. I've found a lot of weird clothes,shirts, kimonos,I even bought 500 pesos for 2 bucks and some English pennies from when Queen Victoria was a girl for a dollar.

hahah yeah i know what you mean. i was there a couple weeks ago with my mom and i was about to get this kind of ruler that has a sliding piece on it. i said to my mom,"it's kind of broken...but it's only 49 cents!" she talked me out of it.

i am crazy at tag sales too. the church my mom goes to has tag sales twice a year, and they have it so that you get whatever you can cram into a paper grocery bag for $1. i find a couple things i want, but i'm always left with extra room so i cram in this stuff i don't need and then i end up with ping pong balls, cups, and old lady shoes.

lol! I actually had a yard sale last year where by the end of it I was running the "2 bucks a box" special. People went into freakout mode and started buying EVERYTHING! I mean like fighting over a bag of broken popsicle sticks! lol!

i actually took a pic of the orange shirt and set it as my cell phone wallpaper the last time i was at goodwill. when i went back yesterday it was still there and i decided i HAD to buy it.

hahahaha, that is great. my sister always sets prices too low at tag sales. she had to go somewhere before our tag sale was over, and this woman came over and started to buy a ton of her stuff. my sister had put a bunch of necklaces and stuff in a little plastic bag and marked it 25 cents. the woman asked me if it meant for the whole bag, or each individual item. i got her to pay it for each item, but that's still really cheap as it is.

It was over 100 degrees that day and I just wanted to be done. Well, that did the job! I had one lady who was kind of crazy...like she might shank you kind of crazy... she wanted this candle for free; I was like "sure!" I just wanted her to leave!

hahahahha wtf. who goes to a tag sale and asked to get things for free. that reminds me, i bought a desk lamp at a tag sale once and i don't know what i did with it. i never even took it out of the box.
