Very artistic! I love this shirt, I just hope I have enough money to buy it before it's sold out!

How is cutting and pasting artistic?

hehehe, I'll never get tired of hearing stuff like that from you guys...

I ALMOST lost hope in threadless when they printed this, but hearing everyone bash it for the same reasons I do is reassuring.

you'd better buy it cause it's the most original thing I've seen... ever

Too bad he's married and it would be illegal for us to hold hands.

wow, i find it funny how some people have so much time on their hands that if they think there's a submission that is not original, they'll actually search the internet to find out exactly how the designer made their design.

Frankly, i like this design and could care less if it was based on a painting. Whether he used a fisherman from istock and a tree from whatever site that was, he used them well and made a cool looking shirt that i would wear.

ok i'll shut up now...

I agree with Dropowtt... And I mean... What do you guys get out of bashing it anyways?

Actually, if someone is a fan of Brad Holland I don’t think they would have to search too much to find where it came from. Also, I didn’t bash it. I actually wanted it until I saw how weird the guy looks.

yeah but dropowtt, it's sad that a lot of truely original work is passed up on threadless and this got printed. this guy is an established illustrator, he didn't want to spend too much time on an original piece so he took some clip art, someones idea, threw them together and there you go, $1000 richer. he was testing the waters of threadless and it goes to show that most people don't know shit about good work, unique work...

but then there are the prints like Beasts (not on the color the artists intended and he was dissappointed that it wasn't on baby blue..hmmm?), Water, Just Water, Psilocybe Cubensis etc... unique and recognized, they keep me faithful

threadless was inclined to print it just like they had to print goatse

lastly, some people just know where to look for images and obviously it wasn't that hard, google it buddy

Wakejive - have you spent countless hours on a sub yet to have people bash it? no, not yet? okay then, I'm entitled to because I've been bashed, hahaha

are you also aware of the many great designs that threadless has passed on to have this printed? there are a lot and they are brilliant and... they probably won't get printed

"are you also aware of the many great designs that threadless has passed on to have this printed? there are a lot and they are brilliant and... they probably won't get printed"

Ok, there are. So what? I really doubt complaining is going to do anything.

actually it has. but we didn't complain, we just kept bugging the guys at threadless to consider this or that :

"Psilocybe Cubensis"

check out how old that sub is, we pushed for it... we got the power

I rallied behind "Bush", I'm sure I didn't really impact threadless' opinion, but maybe I did, look at some of my blogs.
