Why does the white throw me off..
I feel awful about not liking this shirt as much as I should. It's such a brilliant concept, but GOSH, the whiteprint under the black: something about it ruins the whole shirt!

I see the original design didn't have any colors under it either. I thought I'd like that more, but then that seemed to dull to me.

Hmm. Maybe a more halftome white would've been better? Or like, those vintage-looking faded-white/light grey prints could've looked better.

But don't get me wrong, the art is baffling to me, and it was a 950% good choice on threadless' part.

But the White. Ugh, THE WHITE!

Why, oh why?

I was up and down on the white but then I realised the white was cool... absolutely necessary to the deconstructed neo-Industrial Revolution reference.

i want the white gone too. it wa so superior with just the black.

Yeah, same, I don't like it as much this way - either make it all white including the background, or don't have the white underneath the line-art... right now it looks a bit too stuck-on for my taste.

I bought the shirt, and after a few washes the white eventually fades (not completely) and the green of the shirt begins to come through. It looks gorgeous! Just give it a chance. :)
