I feel that these fruit of the loom Men's shirts aren't cutting it, in comfort. As the girls that purchase from this website know - there is a big difference in the feel of an American Apparel shirt. I would totally pay an extra $2 for my shirts to be printed on American Apparel. They would fit better, feel better, and last a whole lot longer in wash than the fruit of the loom Men's shirts.

I hope Threadless will consider this as a change in their service. I have purchased Threadless Select, but I'd like other designs to be on better shirts.

I agree with you...even though I'm a girl. All the guys I know like AA a lot better. I recently bought infinity mpg for my boyfriend and when he compared it to mine, he said he would rather have the AA because they're softer. Besides, Fruit of the Loom is always cut oddly; too boxy and frumpy. Bleh.

i don't mind the fruit of the loom on guys, they usually look ok, but the AA ones would look better.

Add me to the "I agree" list. American Apparel makes better shirts than Fruit of the Loom. They're more comfortable.

funny, considering they printed on AA for the first couple years and had to switch because of too many complaints of the shirts NOT lasting in the wash (among other things that i dont remember) :O

As the proud owner of both girly and guys shirts, I gotta agree. Guy's shirts are not as nice.

but then you would complain about poor manufacturing, splitting seams, odd sizing, bad stitching.

Americans suck at making things...that's why we have slaves do it for us

depending on how much more expensive AA is, I think I'd rather AA shirts as well. $2-3 extra isn't so bad...but if its more than $5 I'd rather just stick with Fruit of the Loom.

Comfort and good quality should come in a THREADLESS SHIRT. I'm sure we'd all pay for it!

I thought FOTL lasted longer. I think a lot of people would complain about a price hike. I love my girly shirts,a nd don't mind pating extra, but people on here are really tight.

fotl does suck, and i like aa better. (even though neither has a size that truly fits me the way i like). BUT! there are many problems with aa, too. they dont last as long (i dont know where you got that) the pint wears off and the shirt falls apart (just like FOTL).

theyve had problems with both, they used to have guys on AA. they have been looking into a new option for both genders thats iftted, cotton, but isnt as bad as AA. theyve been looking for awhile, theres been a billion blogs about this, and the only and best thing we can do is to wait patiently for them to decide (if they ever do)

AA is great when it comes to comfort. My only concern would be for people who order larger sizes, xxl. Since AA shrinks what will happen =(. Does anyone know how much they shrink when it comes to guy shirts? Just a size if at all? Thanks

The 2 AA shirts that I own convinced me that they are better than all the FOTL shirts I have.

So I agree, all mens shirts should be AA.

they have both pros and cons, but i think a better substitute can be found for both genders.

You got my vote here - even though I'm a girl. I bought one Guys Small shirt ages ago, and I was so disappointed at the feel and quality of the FotL shirt that I am totally sticking to AA shirts only now. They're much softer and nicer!

I know I wont be buying any more shirts that are from FOTL, the FOTL shirts are thinner and they aren't fitted. I have AA shirts from years ago that are still making it today, if my tee's are lasting a few years I can't really complain about the quality.
