It's kind of funny...

...that I was reminded to log into Threadless to see what new submissions there were by a box of cereal.

I was just sitting here, box of "Honey Puffs" in hand, and the thought "I wonder if this is copyright infringement?' went through my head. Because Honey Puffs are knockoff Honey Combs. Same taste, same shape. It just made me laugh. Because, obviously, it's *not* copyright infringement. You just...yeah. You know what I mean?

It also made me realize that I've spent way too much time on this website. I need to buy a shirt soon. Once I have free money for clothing. Or I need to submit something. One of those.

Thank you so much for your comment on my shirt. It is definately one of the best comments I have heard. The drips were just for "hip" and "cool" factor beyond dino nerds, but thank you so much.

I don't think you can copyright cereal shape and taste, cause most cereals are simple shapes and the flavors are all similar. I mean you can't copyright honeycombs, if anything bees own that design ;o)

I THINK the Lucky Charms marshmallows are copyrighted or something, because in all the knock off lucky charms they're all stupid shapes that don't quite look like the "real" ones.

But yeah, the names of the cereals are trademarked, so the knock off brands just make a similar name with a similar looking cereal and sell it for 1/2 the price. It's a smart idea, if you ask me, plus it's legal. Funny stuff, cereal.
