Not very much. Worse than a nose piercing but less than a slap in the face. I guess it all depends on who is doing the slapping though. One of your slaps is arguably as weak as a needle prick imo.

If you do, just do what you want. It's not that big of a commitment, you can always take it out with minimal scarring.
