This is probably one of the most disturbing tees I have seen on threadless so far... And I love it!

I think the lack of detail throughout the design except the faces and jaws creates a stark image that definitely has a subliminal effect on the viewer. And I think that the use of prefab textures for the forms creates this strange depth despite its own flatness; it probably works better than if the bodies of the subjects were actually detailed, coz it would distract the viewer from the actual horror of the situation.

This frozen moment in time of an absurd and terrifying situation reminds me of the remains of the people engulfed by the volcanic eruption in Pompeii, well preserved bodies of people frantically trying to escape.

This will definitely be in my shopping cart...
