Pride Parade Design Comp!

Hey Folks, We are looking forward to building another amazing float! Along with the float building we will need some sweet tees to wear at the parade taking place on June 26th 2011. We are looking for a bold design that people can easily see on the parade route, so very detailed designs are not the best kind of design for this challenge! Post your work in this blog!

If you need some inspiration here is the video from last years Pride Parade!
INSPIRATION

Here are the contest guidelines:
- Must use the threadless logo somewhere on the shirt.
- Print location front of the shirt only

If your design is selected you will get:
- $200 Threadless coupon
-Nude photo set of Craig Shimala
-Swag Bag of Naked & Angry products
-Copies of your tee in all sizes
-Crisp 5 dollar bill from Charles Festa

Cool, will def have to do something for this... but all I can think of are shirtless fireman.... like a fireman calender, JORDAN WILL PUT OUT YOUR FIRE... and dicks.... and dikes on bikes. And bears.... Okay, so far I'm doing a shirt with a bear fireman who's actually a dike on a bike.... sounds too detailed.

Have you ever been to a Pride parade, dannodepf ? Well I've gone to about 10 and Dikes on Bikes is actually a group of lesbians on Harleys who call themselves that. Bears are bears. And the fireman in San Diego sue the city when they are in the parade, ha. Yay! reality, welcome to it. If there's one thing about "the gays" they know who they are and celebrate it.

I guess now that I'm thinking about it, theres a lot of subdefined groups, so I don't know which are stereotypes, and which ones are just a sub classification. I suppose a stereotype would be one considered by the mass population. Maybe there's a statement to be made... Threadless can change perceptions! One shirt at a time

hahha, so true. In SD we have this group, surround by cops on horses, with banners of hate and a loud speaker blaring out bible verses of condemnation. It's good to live in a country where we can actually live freely though and fully express ourselves, look at what happens to groups in Israel, Latin American countries or in Africa, murdered on site.

Stereotypes are to be shunned I guess, maybe too easy.....

The only reason I'm doing this is to get these photos of Shimala. must_see_can't_resist

Yes, you can only submit something that is a front print. Per teh guidelines Uncle Fester posted.
