Hi Everybody! Rachel and I have been working on an interview with Black Rock Collective, aka BRC. Well we just posted it so check it out if you have a min!! You have to be invited by another BRC member, and it also has to be 'validated' (for lack of a better word) by a few other members at least. This sounds elitist, but it's just a way of letting the BRC know who might be joining, so if you are not already a fan of their work you can check their stuff out. Most of the time it's someone whose work you really respect that warrants an invite. No secret society, farm yard animal lovin' I'm afraid. Although Aaron and I know some pretty attractive sheep in New Zealand. My first girlfriends name was BAAAA-bara.

The Black Rock Collective has mostly grown in an organic way: most of the members invited were friends of people who were already participating. This way the group kept on growing in a friendly and informal way. Basically, you have to be invited by another BRC member, and most of the time the invitations are discussed on the forum previously. The art director/organiser put them all together in one massive Illustrator file (close to 25MB) and added shadows, drips and squirts. - stinger

haha - my latest desing in it's singular non pattern state is 1.2 gb

I have no idea how you could make a 1.2gb Illustrator file...christ, my 3 foot tall paintings in psd format are only 300-500mb

hahah ste7en it is a psd, a lot of details, a lot of layers, a lot of back up layers... i want to be able to reproduce it massive!

my biggest illustrator files have been about 350 mb, but that's probably with photographic elements or insane details
