Anyone know where I can download Doom 2 for Mac?
I'm currently inking the images...
This is a big deal for me, because I've never done anything so intricate for a design... ------------------------------------------------------------------ Design Title Under Consideration... ------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Not just these designs, but these are good examples. They are all masterfully crafted. These represent a quality of work I can't begin to comprehend. It's actually quite embarrassing to submit some of my designs after seeing some of these. Good job to these artists, and others who submit the same quality of work. ![]() Design Score Guesses: 3.50 soloyo 3.25 jess4002 3.15 psykomakia 3.14 rbthatcher (rounded score) 2.88 frostedlemoncoward ! 2.82 bengineer wins ! 2.78 digsy 2.75 robroy05 2.70 celandinestern 2.66 EricDiaz 2.65 arkanghel 2.46 bhoomika 2.30 greenttentacle Contact me at outlawrw at gmail dot com, bengineer! You won a random drawing, and I'll need your address! :D Design Info: So this shirt was originally designed by me to be a shirt I would like to sleep in. So the entire concept of it spawned from me wanting a sleep-shirt. ![]() I toyed with the idea with a setting at "Night" which got me thinking of kids staying up late and monsters under the bed. Things along those lines. But the monsters under the bed thing was done to death. So I thought along the lines of Monsters INC -- why can't monsters be afraid of humans? How does a kid scare a monster? ![]() After having the sketch of characters, I had to decide what color shirt I want this on. It had to help give off a feeling that the design was taking place at night. I wanted to avoid black and gray though -- and I wasn't entirely thrilled about doing this on blue. Going through NiNTH WHEEL's templates though, I found mint! Mint was too perfect to pass up -- and while Threadless doesn't consistently print on mint, they have -- so I felt it was ok to put the design on mint. ![]() I cut up some water color stock in photoshop -- slapped a pattern on it -- and altered everything to the appropriate color scheme according to the mint shirt. Thus, "Did You Hear Something?" was born.
Why is Jebbie Awesome?
I think it's because Jebbie is like Sonic the Hedgehog. Enough chaos emeralds and rings and she can turn into Super (or even Hyper) Jebbie.
Well! I have all these slogans you see, and they need some love. Think you might be able to help them out?
The Slogans that need YOU!
Well . . . a lot of you have been posting in the "So Where Are All Of You?" blog -- and I have a really good idea of where most of you Threadless addicts reside -- I'm just a little down that most of you can't visit HQ in Chicago -- I thought there were more of you near here.
So I had an idea! Maybe it's a bit odd, but maybe some of you should fly/drive/walk (?) out here and we'll take a trip to HQ. I'll take ya up there and even pay for your lunch! Just keep it under $10.00, I'm super poor. But you could stay with me for a few days and then you'll go back home with a few new shirts and a lot of Threadless stickers. I just hope Threadless is still allowing walk-ins. If you're interested, let me know! EDIT! If anyone is really interested, email me at outlaw01_bgp@yahoo.com
Really! Where are you all living? I'm interested to know how far the whisper of Threadless has spread!
Me, I'm in Joliet, IL -- it's a suburb of Chicago. I'm just about 45min away from Threadless HQ. |
I am a 20-something year old guy currently attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design as an Illustration Major. I'm usually quite shy -- so internet forums and the like are great for me because I can hide behind my computer. I love Questionable Content and the character Hannelore.
I love Threadless, and I even founded the Threadless Meet-ups with a simple blog. I made a few designs that scored 'ok' -- but I had them cleared to start fresh. If you send me Street Points, I will love you forever. I sometimes find myself bothering Charles Festa whenever I visit Threadless HQ -- he's just a cool dude. My Highest Scoring Design
