My friend is out there right now, he's married to a Thai girl and they have just bought two plots of land on Koh Somui island. It's my future retirment home!

yeah tesko, it's pretty cheap to get a place there. Something like $40,000 USD (1 million baht) for a 2 story, 2 brm, 2 bth house in a gated community with a yard. We're considering a 2nd home there too!! heheee....maybe. You can't get that in L.A.! HAHA!
