So, everyone on threadless has their little "soandso has scored this many submissions, giving an average score of this." And I notice that compared to the rest of the population, my average score is significantly higher.
And I wonder... Am I scoring the best way I can? Am i just too nice? Is it my youth? Do other more stringent scorers think I'm a loser? Oh Goood! When i hit the designs for a round of scoring, my thought process usually goes like this... Okay, toughness, 0 for what i don't want, 5$ for what I do... Oh wait... I wouldn't wear that, but it's kinda nice... 4... I would so wear that, but it's not that great of design... 3$. Yeah. I try to be tough and go "yes or no" but then i end up scoring all crazily, with "maybe"s and "what-if"s and "well, okay"s. I find myself scoring designs for their quality as designs, and not really "Do i want this on a shirt or not?" So... how do you score, my fellow threadlessians? I'm curious.
just keeping them in mind... everything and anything i even have an inkling of wanting (only in sizes i can wear and are available, because i like to keep hope alive that maybe i'll find a job and buy them all before they sell out.)

So, during the hoody sale, I ordered this. Hooray, I love it, etc.
But in the tag area, where it usually has the name of the design and designer, it just says "Title" and "Designer by Name." I guess they were printing the hoodies up so fast for the sale that they didn't notice. I don't know if I'm late and someone pointed this out already, but whatever. I'm not mad or anything. I think it's funny. I was just wondering... does anyone else have a shirt or hoody like this? ![]() ![]() ....yes. yes! YES!
Back to School Sale, I am ready for you.
So I finally saved enough street team points for a free shirt! Yay! I wonder if I should just get one, or save even more until I can get two... or three! Is that allowed?
Sometimes I feel like I should reserve an afternoon for myself to take product pictures... I have well over 100 shirts... I just feel like the pictures should be natural, on a day I wear a shirt and have my picture taken. You know? =) about Greetings From...
I live in Philadelphia, "in the ghetto". This shirt kind of made me cry a little bit. I know it's supposed to be funny. Haha, bullet holes and bandanas... My cousin has been shot. Some of my peers are in gangs. It seems like people get mad and make fun when people find shirts offensive... but come oon! It's not something to make fun of. I don't know why this got printed. It's tasteless! ...my opinion. about Barf Trip
This shirt arrived at my house yesterday and it is so great. The colors are very bright and I love the way it fits. I got a lot of compliments and just people staring at it. Plus, it's almost Christmas! So life is good. =) about Tagged
so... im supposing that everyone knows about the stolen-ness of the design by now... but am i a bad person for still wanting to buy it? about Deadless
this shirt arrived at my house today, along with "puppet ballet" and "fantastic typewriter" and... this may have been my most satisfying threadless order yet, and ive had a lot of orders. all these shirts are amazing, and the faesthetic magazine that came with "deadless" was a great bonus. i mean, even my mom likes it, and she doesn't like anything! i know a lot of people hate this design and i don't get why, but hey it's cool, that's just more shirts for everyone else. this is a "yay life" moment for me. yep. just wanted to share my joy. :) |
