Declined and explained

Days are passing in the Threadless world. My third submission is out today. Actually it got declined at first... I guess the Threadless team don't mind me telling this:
At first submission of the artwork I got a message that it was declined. The reason: it had nothing to do with the runnig "Loves Threadless" competition titled "If you speak any faster". Actually this came as quite a surprise to me since I did put some effort into making it for that theme (I admit: without taking the most obvious approach...).
They suggested that I explained the connection and so I did. Now it's up running and you can judge yourself.

I'm quite happy with the more efficient use of (only three) colours on this last one (human cannon ball). The Obi Wan would make a neat shirt in its 4 colours though. I'm not giving in. More shirtdesigns are in the making.

Gerpander: I totally agree. Did they expect all entries to have at least a mouth, some lips and/or some comic speed-swooosh?
