Derric grew up in Yakima, Washington driving tractors on his family���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s third generation apple farm. After playing football for the College of the Siskiyous in California, Derric went on to study graphic design at Central Washington University and in Fort Lewis College in Colorado. After graduation, Derric went onto run a successful freelancing business, where he worked with everything related to print, web, logo, apparel, and even Twitter and MySpace profile design. He recently moved to Seattle to join the SEOmoz team, and when he���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s not designing, has been spending time exploring the city���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s restaurants with his fianc������© Terra and her brother TJ.
