i understand how that goes man. i usually just forget about even the idea of making anything for a few days. read, watch a few movies, take walks...listen to some good music, etc. ideas will happen.

It's crazy where inspiration comes from dude. I hear you on that. Some weeks I don't have a single thing I think would be worth pursuing, and then some weeks I can't write the ideas down fast enough. I think stressing out about it tends to hurt the creative process, so like Brett said, get away from trying to think about thinking about design and just live life or go on ffffound or looking through pictures or watching/reading/listening to things that are inspiring to you and maybe they will offer some clue as to where you should go next to find something just as good or unique to pour your energy into.

Good luck man, I really miss your designs around these parts. And of course, I have some concepts that would work great with your artistry if you wanted to combine forces...maybe it would jump start you onto your own solo works :p

Dude, I keep seeing Adventure Time on televisions while I'm working in the emergency room and I never hear the eps, but I watch some of them and it's just delirious music to my senses without even knowing what's going on, lol. Can't wait to buy a couple seasons and go on a mind-melting marathon. It does amaze me how many ideas and little touches shows like that bring to the table every other second.
