The Banksy was strange, and then the Schindler's List-like extended sequence was pretty insane. Can't believe Fox let's them get away with this shit, but they've always had a strict policy of not taking any editing notes from the network. How bizarre is it for the animators in a foreign country to be animating themselves as slaves and being overworked and causing diabolical harm to nature?

I think it's more that The Simpsons have constantly bitten the hand that feeds them and remains true to itself by shitting on the pomposity and hypocrisy it sees in the Fox corporation...the show makes so much money for Fox that they just deal with it. It's kind of amazing they still find ways to hit their master but hard.

The whole thing is a bit weird for me. Fox probably like this. I guess by embracing and sending up their image as a soulless, ruthless corporation - they are attempting to dispell it.
