I'm thinking.. A dinosaur.. Maybe a T-rex. Make him kinda nonchalant. Suave and cultured... British perhaps? At any rate, give him a top hat.

That's all I got.

i think a tea party, with a buncha sweet little girls - but they all have guests in the form of brutal horned beasts - and these beasts are sipping with their pinkies stuck out and wearing bonnets and playing pretend with the little girls

so it is like imaginary friends but with your monsters at a tea party

I'd like to see two cool looking floppy disks, one's wearing sunglasses the other's dressed professionally. the floppy disk with sunglasses is half transparent and there's a quote above his head saying
'i'm on the down load'

get it?

don't do that.

Dandelions popping the heads off of people.

Or was that dandelion popping a regional thing?

I know i've seen a british t-rex on here somewhere.. top hat and everything.
Tess Fondie
Tess Fondie on Jun 20 '08 at 12:24pm
i sent it to brian and rolf, but i know I'm not going to go anywhere withthe idea =P

So, it would be like an inkblot test, and inside the design there would some how be a drawing hidden inside it. I dunno how you'd hide it tho, seeming how it would be black ink, and if you used the UV ink on top of it I don't think it'd show up. and I dunno if the glow in the dark would be the trick. Maybe like the puffed out ink on top of the design? I dunno if this is making any sense to you.

also, seeming how it will be a 2 ink design, have multiple drawings hidden so there would be like 3 different shirts, same exact inkblot, but the hidden drawing would be different. i dunno if threadless would allow that, they did for that select home is where the heart is. but i think it'd be cool

tess that is a neat idea but yeah Im not sure I would pull that off that well ..plus Im not sure it could be done as well as you want it. I dont know enough about teh processes

This is probably not the most original idea, but with your character skills it might be good for you. Expand on "Brian and his monster". Put 3 kids in a playground each with their own type of monster above/behind them. Make the 3 kids interacting some way (like building a sand castle or something) and the monsters interacting in some similar fashion above/behind them. You could make it special!

i've been wanting to do one, with like a fancy old school kinda door handle. But where they key hole is, if you look closely there is a secret fun image in it. So basically you have to be like a peeping tom on the shirt to see it. I'd love to see what you can do with it.

you should have a children's book open flat and some of the characters escaping from the pages and one of them helping another one get out

hope that makes sense

valorandvellum
   valorandvellum on Jun 20 '08 at 9:09pm
Sure thing! I'm always afraid I'm going to do something that's "been done before".

Maybe you could have a garden and it could have dandelions with lion heads growing out and snapdragons with dragons coming out and some other literal takes on flower/plant names.
chelly
chelly on Jun 20 '08 at 9:11pm
hmm well, i do see what you are saying, but in my head it was totally different. yes, it has books and a person reaching in, but that would be where it ended.

alas it was only an idea.

i did a quick sketch of the idea because i thought my description failed. there would be more characters off to the right tip-toeing or whatnot.

i do really like the bsweber fna sub too though.

just thinking how well wulla's style goes with children's literature and how that could be adapted to look on a shirt.

no harm in brainstorming.
chelly
chelly on Jun 20 '08 at 9:15pm
oooooh

you do spirits pretty well

you could have a kid blowing bubbles
then use the UV light to show that spirits are actually carrying the bubbles

well wulla, the great thing about you is that you create these amazing characters. so really, they just need a normal (by our standards) situation to be in and then add some kind of "catch" to it.

lol omg.. I love the Ninjas hate Pigeons one! I completely missed that one! There should be a way to make a check list of your favorite artists so when they sub new stuff your user page alerts you or something...

Anyways I just feel like bumping this because Wullu one of my favorite artists here and I want his stuff printed more! I wear "The New Guy" so much it's starting to wear out and I'll probably have to go buy a 2nd one before they're all gone.
