Ok so a while back, like maybe a year, someone posted pages out of their sketchbook on here and they were amazing, they had loads more on their flickr as well. i'd like to see those again but can't remember who posted them, does anyone else have any idea?

they were like ink drawings of places, like there was a sketchbook of drawings of every room and object in their house, and i think there was one of disney world or something..

sorry my memory is kinda vague but i'm sure someone must remember!

if you have a scanner and paper money (dollars, pounds, euros, whatever), could you please scan it in for me? i'm workin on a poster design in which i'm basically making an image out of a load of money. i could just copy and paste one bill but i think it would be more effective if i used a lot of different ones as each is unique in how creased and aged it is, so it'd be more varied.

feel free to scan as many as you have, even if they're of the same value, either side (both if possible). either upload and link to the images in replies or email them to me at neil_dl@hotmail.co.uk (try to keep the images quite large).

Okay basically i need to write an essay on both a historical artist and a contemporary graphic designer/illustrator. i've got the former covered but need someone to write on for the latter.

i figured since this is an art-and-design-related community you guys probably know a whole bunch of cool artists i could use.

criteria:
-preferably use both graphic design and illustration in their work
-well-known and active enough that there's plenty of information, articles, examples of their work and stuff on the internet
