No offense to the designers and Threadheads involved in making of this shirt (doing some really neat and nifty printing techniques to this shirt DEF makes it more attrative), it's just that im completely over and done with having seemingly random pieces of drawings and colors thrown together to produce something so "artsy and complex" an infantile mind like mine without a degree in BC Wall Scrawlings is labeled as "stupid" or "only liking beer and boob tees" if we voice our displeasure with what has been "selectively" peddled out to us this month. i'm glad Threadless tried something different, but i wish just ONE of the faesthetic tees went for "clever artistic" and not just "autistic artistic". O well...good try Threadless.

oooh....harsh........just because you don't like means you're wrong. and it doesn't mean I'm wrong.....it means you don't like it and I do.

? i think you're thinking about things too much, frickinawesome. it's either your style or it isn't. simple as that! faesthetic magazine uses more "outsider art", so if you're not a fan of that kind of stuff, then you probably wouldn't be into these t-shirt designs!

i love this design. it's my favorite of the other select tees.

somni- i thought we were buds judging by our previous posts- how DARE you think my opinion is on the flipside of right! All kidding aside, i dont think im taking this too seriously my man- i try to actually have decent discussions about t-shirt design on this site, so i wanted to throw my opinion out there and see what everyone else thought. I kinda LOATHE the feasthetic technique to artistic t-shirt design- and i merely stated i don't think it is the right kind of work for this site- i know it's cool when Threadless reaches out for new things, but as i've stated before, i've never been a fan of wierd for the sake of weird, which i feel feasthetic's artistic integrity provides in unfortunate and sad spades. And Steve- this is a blog for OPINIONS my spikey friend- I never said you were wrong for liking it, im just putting my two cents in change into the discussion. I thought that's what these blogs are for? I'm at work and got nothing better to do anyway. lol. "Autistic Artistic" is the feeling these designs conjure in my head- it's just the randomness that is created by thinking in autistic ways- colors all over the place, layered on top of multi-headed and/or disgusting caricatures of things that would make old people vomit instantly if they spotted me on the street with them on. I guess you either get what im saying or you dont, stevie. Once again, i only throw this stuff out there for debate. I'm just getting tired of people calling those who don't like these friday designs "not getting it" or "wish to see more bathroom people guzzling natty lights" on our tees. I admit im a sucker for clever. BTW, sorry for the long post and submitting twice before.

autistic artistic is probably the least PC name i've ever heard in my life.

i'm going to design something and call it cancer art because it has no hair.

Aww, poor baby myspacetom (which is a gigantic affront to all decent creatvie people at the utter annoyance this name creates in usually fun-loving, sweet people). Did I offend you with a pointedly honest representaiton of what this art makes me think of? Seriously, you are ridiculous. You are calling the PC police on me on THIS site? For THAT? I think the movie Bubble Boy did more to insult adults living in hamster balls than my cute lil' observation- which isn't even an insult towards autistic people, because they are extremely high-functioning at times (unless all movies on the subject have lied to me). I am hereby renaming my "autistic artistic" moniker to be simply called "myspacetomitis". I hope this clears up any intentional insulting of any group in the entire universe- expect for you and your lame ass view of life. Go squander some other life force's air. Have a fantastic day!

ha oh man. i love faesthetic, and i love the shirts... especially this one. just accept that some people have to think this shirt is in fact... frickin awesome :)

I've never disputed that! Jesus people, does EVERY response to my opinion have to be "Your wrong! Accept the fact that I LOVE IT!" Great! I have accepted this! Just thought i could a decent debate going, but obviously not. Glad you enjoy it. I'd rather wear the swan dress that Bjork wore to the Oscars, with the swan still moving. Enjoy your shirts though, people!

I respect your opinion, sir. I like the wild and random, some people don't because it seems to take no effort, and I don't dispute that. Some things labeled "art" make me sick, because people scribble a little doodle, and spread nonsense over a piece of cardboard, and instantly a high-ranking 'artist' receives mounds of praise for being such a genius. I don't know where I'm going with this. I like this shirt, though.

And I hate Political Correctness in all of it's entirety.

skipper- thank you, skip. Pretty much my point summed up in...actually, it wasn't that summed up, but awesome addition to what i was saying nonetheless!

theivery- i know you didn't man. It must be this damned pregnancy...it's got my emotions all in a tizzy of epic proportions! *starts to sob during a Polio Sting Chesse commercial*

sonmi- We don't vote on these select shirts, so this is the time to say what we like and/or dislike about these tees. My discussion is pretty much seeing what people find so intruiging about random mish-mashes after the concept has been taken the nth degree the last few years. Is that not a decent discussion topic?

Checked it out- i really like the shirt on the upper left side of his main page. If THAT woulda been the select, i'd be all about it- even though it is still a Tasmanian Devil sandstorm of found and random images, the colors go from hot to cold in a very transcendant way that really tie the entire image together. His photos of extremely talented individuals in thier own environments was pretty interesting as well. So pretty much everything except this Threadless shirt, i kinda enjoy from this artist.
