Is there anyone else here who was unfortunate enough to be tricked into seeing this piece of shit?

i have!

it sucked so much.

the whole marching band from my school went to new york for 3 days and we saw 2 shows.

Hairspray, and The Pirate Queen.

We LOVED Hairspray.

And we used The Pirate Queen as an excuse for a midday nap.

Even our band director hated it.

I think the only thing good was the whole...dancing part, that was really fast like riverdancing almost kind of stuff.

Yeah, I have to admit that the riverdancing was good. And Stephanie J. Block has a great voice...but good lord!! The script was horrible!!!

And your midday nap comment-EVERYONE in my group was asleep!

I just got back from my drama department's trip, we were there 7 days and saw 9 shows.

So luckly we had other good theatre to get that nasty taste out of our mouths.
