Oh, someone got more newb all over the the blog forum...
Erm, threadless is telling me that there have been no submissions more recent than Motek's all we need is love. I'm pretty certain there are more that I can't see.
I've tried everything short of deleting my temp files; IE quits responding when I try. Any thoughts?

Yeah, was gonna say...didn't think there were any brand new ones...like, all weekend.



Maybe I just spaced out and forgot about everything but papers and french projects.

we like to keep the number of subs to vote on around 300-350 so there's no reason to put more up till more finish scoring

shimala, what do you think of the Threadless Con idea? I have worked on a lot of sf cons over the decades, and would be delighted to help if you are interested in the idea.

well, if the first threadless con works out, there will no doubt be others. and if there are others, i would hope they would be in other places.



but people do travel incredible distances to meet their friends in far-away places. i have never been to a con in australia, for instace, but i have been to several in england and scotland....

you could do it digitally and webcam in, that would be cool for those who couldn't make it, they could webcam in like live meeting or some process

i think the whole point of a con would be to meet one another in the flesh. sure, it could also be a threadless media event -- we could have a t-shirt competition for a special shirt available only to attendees, we could blog like crazy from the party suite, there could be webcasts, etc. but the point would be to meet the talent, photos, and text, as it were.
