Seems like everything getting printed is simply cartoony, witty or kinda sketchy. What happened to those cool shirts with dark themes that really weren't funny. They were simply appealing to the eyes. They attracted attention and looked nice on your body. I'm talking about shirts like Who I Am, Death by Music and Time Fades. These don't make me laugh when I see them. They don't have any witty references. They simply look "cool" and the designs are crisp and clean. I want more "cool" looking shirts that simply look nice.

Typewriter one still looks sketchy and hand drawn

yeah my last design was like that as well. I'll admit that I was trying to go with the threadless hype to try to get something printed, but the next one I'm working on is going to be a lot more like what I want to see printed

I'm not sure if I'm articulating myself correctly, I hope some people understand what I'm trying to get across. I haven't wanted to buy anything lately, the styles are so different, but they still aren't what I find interesting to wear. I want to see some styles similar to those shirts I listed if that makes any sense

reprint who I am!!

I paid for it but then had to get a refund cause they went out of stock as I was paying for it or something like that

also I think It should be reprinted on white cause anything else would take away from the pic

you like clean vector stuff, as apposed to sketchy stuff? well you're out of luck because most people on here have gone right off that style. I havent, though. I'm lucky I can appreciate any style, except glennz 3D stuff lolz

I know what you mean JxE... I would love a few more iconic vector prints or some stuff that isnt narrative, yknow less story more pure aesthetics... in saying that, I'm more guilty than most of subbing visual punchline, narrative stuff.

the trouble is hogboy, you have to give the people want they want. and they want narrative heavy designs. I much, much prefer stuff that is just pure aesthestics but if you want to stand a better chance of winning this bitch you have to compromise. maybe in a year or so peoples tastes will change for the better.

I searched your three examples out, and I agree that those types of designs are missing currently. It's too bad.

I think those 3 I mentioned are my favorites. I really do prefer the vector designs over the illustration ones. I enjoy seeing the mona lisa with graffiti on her as much as the next guy, but it's not something I'd wear on a shirt. I think I prefer shirts with darker themes, but everything seems so happy go lucky lately.

I can't design that way, unfortunately. I have a hard time getting realistic shapes when I design. Everything has some cartooned style when I draw. Either I can vectorize a photo straight out of photoshop, or draw it from scratch. I can't really achieve that middle ground.
