So, not to toot anyone's horn, but if you look at the original submission you'll see these two comments right next to each other.

Rad! I'd wear this

Me too!!! 5$
"

It got a 2.00 and appears to be badly recieved and hailed as "For Sale by Parents 2". I personally like the design and congratulate the designer, but, I still think something is fishy.

Is the score really a pivotal force in the decision of printing a shirt anymore?

HUH????

I DEFY YOU TO ANSWER ME!!!

not anymore, thank god. Do you know how much good stuff gets a low score and complete shit gets a high score?

thank goodness threadless doesn't depend solely on the voting majority of cutesy-loving teenagers! it speaks for the little people, too.

i dont think it depends to much on any group of people. they either have figured out the market and know what to print based on that or they have such good taste in the designs they print that they can transcend the score and print things that will sell good regardless.

I gave it a 5$, personally.

I work for a lawn care company. Sometimes I will call one of our older, deafer customers and they will say "lawn chairs? I don't want any lawn chairs!" Then I yell back into the phone - "NO! LAWN CARE! Not Lawn chairs!"

Then they hang up on me.

I'm going to wear this to work. :)

life has never presented its self as fair, I gave it a 5. its very refreshing in it's lack of zombies, penguins, and pandas

this is entirely different than "for sale by parents"

in all honesty they could practically print any design they want at this point... they have such a huge fan base (what i hear over 100,000 members) that eventually any shirt they put up WILL be sold out.... just gonna have to deal with it i guess and hopefully find ones u like.... 1 a month seems to be whats working for things i like

Yeah, they've printed quite a few with lower scores.

And the fact that they both commented makes it less conspiracy and more obvious as to why it saw print.

I'm also glad about the score, as popularity contests and folks with lots of friends (neither of which I'd win or have) would be the end all of the competition.

To elaborate, conspiracy would be them both starting alt. accounts, and voting $5 over and over again.

Not to knock any of the comment above, but no, the voting score seems to have little to do with the selection of shirt designs here. Makes me wonder why they hold voting in the first place, except perhaps just to generate buzz and blog-links... :-/

Since Threadless puts out more shirts a week than most other apparel websites throw at you in a MONTH or more, in Threadess's defense, I think they still do care about scores. At least four of the shirts a week are scored quite high, and a few others probably rated very high on the "I'd Buy It!" scale (which I'm sure helped my fav tee of last week, "The Basement of thr alamo", because everyone who pretty much understood the shirt snatched it up immediately). After the reprinted, type tees (which are usually scored near 50 percent or better), and select tees which are exmept, one or two shirts remain a week that Threadless now has the power to either ressurect from a low score or three years ago. I say bravo to them for branching out to what they feel is artistic and a step forward in shirt design, even though I despise this tee with all of my might. I'm done.....now.

Honestly, I bet the voting matters because if EVERYBODY hates a design, and even if two staffers love it, they won't sell any.... right?

Act IV Questions
No, she truly believes that Hamlet is mad and even confesses that Hamlet is guilty of the murder of Polonius.
He cares more about himself than the well-being of Polonius or Hamlet.
He calls Rosencrantz a sponge because he soaks up the king’s countenance, his rewards, his authorities, and Hamlet warns him that when the king needs what you have gleaned,he is squeezing Rosencrantz, and, like a sponge, he shall be dry again.
That, despite his great class rank, the king, once he’s dead, can mean as little to the world as the food of a beggar.
Claudius sends Hamlet off to England with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to ensure he gets there, with a message that orders for Prince Hamlet to be put to death.
X
He feels that if he just eats and sleeps, he isn’t utilizing the full potential of humans, who have the ability of thought and reason.
He proclaims that his thoughts will be bloody, but he does not act exactly upon this statement. Many of his promises to himself are rarely ever kept
Guilt makes you so full of stupid suspicions that you give yourself away because you're trying so hard not to.
Although it was her father who dies, Ophelia is probably singing mournfully about Hamlet. It’s a double blow because not only has her father been murdered, but he’s been murdered by the man that Ophelia loves.
Gertrude tries to protect the Claudius when Laertes enters. She notes that the “danish dogs are on the wrong track”.
She, along with everyone else, seems to be getting progressively undone, and this shows how feeble minded she can be.
The significance of rosemary and pansies show that Ophelia wants him to remeber her in his thoughts.
Hamlet has been captured by pirates, who have returned him to Denmark.
The queen, his mother, is devoted to him and the public loves him.
He wants to be the one to kill Hamlet.
X
If Laertes’s love for his father is true, then he should have adequate motivation to kill Hamlet.
