Thanks everybody for voting on my design! This is the highest scoring design I have done and I'm tickled pink that it has done this well!
A somewhat interesting thing about the score is that it didn't fluctuate more than +/- .05 after the second day and didn't suffer from the final days slum. ![]() This was a sketch I drew for no particular reason, I think I was bored while transferring files. ![]() Anyway, the little git was so distinguished that I really wanted to illustrate it and submit it here on Threadless. I was so excited that I stayed up late and kinda rushed the submission. ![]() It got a 2.0 something, which was the highest any of my subs has gotten, so I was pretty happy. But, after looking at it during the scoring week I realized that a lot more could be done to it. I had been reading the forums a bit and found several really good tutorials on halftones and shading, and used what I learned from those to create this most recent submission. ![]() also, Pixtoons came up with a name for it that is 300 times better: High Tea. Gah I wish I had called it that.
A few abandoned dreams ago I was really into sculpting. I found this website that explained every aspect of making your own sculpey and epoxy sculptures. I didn't make much original work, but it was still a lot of fun.
Here are some pictures of the stuff I actually finished (mostly.) I have real terrible habit of not finishing things. This is a emo mummy from a video game. It was so damn small; I'll never do anything that tiny again.
This is an idea I came up with for an artificial heart, circa 1920. It is, or course, a WIP at this point, and I would love to hear everybody's opinions as I work on it.
The idea is that this would go on the left side of a shirt over your heart. An access panel is opened revealing a steam powered heart with it's dial indicator pointing toward love. I'll be using illustrator to draw over this sketch and will probably end up using four or five colors. After uploading this I already want to add some little puffs of steam later on. |

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
