Hey guys!

You are getting this email because either you expressed interest in finding out about / helping out with my project, or because I would like you to be :).

The rundown: I am in my final semester, and for my final project piece I am developing the framework for a cultural/social center that acts as a gallery/exhibit/event space. The center is named Wonderlust, and is a space focusing on the phenomena of wonder and curiosity. It's goal is to promote people to be more actively curious, and apply that curiosity.

I could go into much more detail than that (I've now written several papers and briefs for my project) so if you need me to, just let me know.

Where do you come in? I am not only designing the space but also curating the first event to be held in the space. The space's first installation is an exploration into finding wonder in ordinary things. Unknown in the known. Finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, and so is entitled (extra)ordinary. Basically I am dispelling the notion that there is only '7 wonders of the world.' I'm having an open submissions for this, photography, drawings, anything is accepted.

The only requirements is that whatever is submitted (seriously, anything that expresses what you feel is wonderful and worthy of curiosity that is deemed as normal everyday things/places/etc.) be contained within a 6'' by 6'' space and at 300 dpi.

My hopes is to fill one of the walls with these squares, to be seen not only as individual pieces but as one large overwhelming piece.
