about Less Talk
Today at my coffee shop I saw a girl wearing "Less Talk".
She walked up to the counter and before she could order from me, I said:
"Can I get a Threadless high- five?"
Needless to say we high-fived!
It was awesome...

i do not like forced high-fives from strangers. If I weere in her position, I would have said "No sir!" and spat at you.

Well, I did ask, so it wasn't forced. And It wasn't awkward b/c she was cool with it.

imagine she'd bought it from ebay and didn't know it was anything but a tshirt? you'd have looked quite the spastic.

even when i do get it i refuse to high five people. i offended a really cute girl in a bowling alley by not high fiving her but what she didn't realise is that my aim sucks and i'd likely have smacked her in the head.

I didn't mind taking the chance that she wouldn't know what I was talking about. If one more person looks blankly at me and then just orders, it's no skin off my back. I usually say something like "How are you?" Ant the yuppie across the counter stares blankly and says "yeah. Can I get...?". So whatever.
