I know I have a few. Sometimes its because the actual song is so sad, but usually it reminds me of a certain event/person that makes me sad. Im curious to know if this is true with guys as well.

Although they probably wouldnt admit it :p

Doesn't make me actually cry, but I know a lot of people cry to Konstantine.

I'm sure after a certain wonderful girl moves away from me, any song at all that reminds me of her will no doubt make me cry.

I'm such a sissy boy.

The first movement of Anton Gorecki's Symphony of Sorrowful Songs. When the soprano stops singing and the strings just keep swelling, I lose basic motor function and the ability to breathe.

Probably sounds all queer and stuff, but at the end of Barry Lyndon, when everything has gone fucked in the life of Barry and the end title starts to scroll, Georg Friedrich Handel's Sarabande will definitely jerk a tear from your eye.

Otherwise cut your favourite Ashlee/Jessica Simpson howl song title here.

The only song that has ever made me cry is "Oh Comely" by Neutral Milk Hotel. And that was only once.

I suppose there will be more in the future, but for now, that's all.

Glossopteris

Oh my goodness you like Jump Little Children!! They're so great and no one's ever heard of them! MATT gave me a hug at the Eno Festival-- I think I'm in looovvee (repeated 3 times!!)

Anyway, Exit Music (for a film) by Radiohead and Cheers Darlin' by Damien Rice.
And, Neighborhood #3 by the Arcade Fire, come to think of it. This is because once I was sleeping on a couch next to a guy that I loved, on the last night I'd ever see him because he lives in a different state, and I woke up at 4 am or so and that song was playing on MTV and I had to use the bathroom really, really bad and when I came back I was too shy to sit next to him again and... it was not the same after that (another great song, actually.)

It's kind of weird though that most of these people's crying songs are songs I really love!

You're right, mezo. Especially if you take into consideration the fact that his wife died just months before that cd came out. It's a tear-jerker. Plus, he died a little while after it came out, too. I absolutely LOVE "I Hung My Head"

right on mezo!

the only thing that makes me cry is animal abuse, (yet i can't stop watching animal cops on animal planet)
but that album does make me feel bad, which says alot.

Anybody notice the annoyingly huge amount of annoyingly violent and depressing programs on Animal Planet?
Animal Cops, almost only about cruelty towards animals.
Snake, shark and alligator programs 24/7.

Too little of cuddly furry monkeys and scurrying little mammals. More programas about the adventures of Proboscis monkey!
