Hahah I'm sorry, I'm not actually into anime so if that was an inside joke for readers/viewers of anime, it's not for me.

I just know what the characters look like... and it's like that

It's less of a joke for anime fans and more for people who like to make fun of anime and it's fans. Wapanese kids who read too much manga like to use the word 'kawaii" which means cute in japanese, all too much, mixing it with regular english. Like people will say "l33t" or "pwn" in real life and it makes them look like assholes. And "kawaii no desu" is "I am so cute" in japanese, to be obnoxious. And that emoticon, more obnoxious poing fun at wapanese kids



Aww. It is not funny when you have to explain it.



And actually, I've been told that I look like an anime character several times now. And also 2-D from the gorillaz, the cookie monster, and several other imaginary characters. It makes me giggle, so thank you.

I'm sorry to make you explain it, that always sucks.
