Are we allowed 5 colors now? Been a while since I was here but it seems like some of the designs I see being allowed to win are using 5 colors... tell me it's so, cuz I'm pursuing my turtle shirt again if that's the case!

I'm thinking about re-submitting for my Turtles Loves Monroe design after I make some changes... but have any re-subs ever been approved for printing? I mean, statistically, what are the chances of even getting it printed if I take the time to fix it up and re-sub?

I think there should be a withdraw or a repost on submissions that haven't been approved yet. I just submitted a design that has a devil on it... and it just hit me that I didn't put the point tail on him!! I spent a lot of time on it and I was just a little unimpressed with the balance of the design, and the tail could totally balance it out. I showed the design to 6 people before submitting it and no one seemed to notice the absence of the tail... so maybe it's okay, but does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could update it somehow or something??

I noticed a large chunk of comments on here where people are talking about competitors on Threadless... and how maybe we shouldn't be allowed to vote on our competitors design as it motivates us to vote unfairly and score them lower than they should be scored... IF you are all looking at each other as competitors, then you are all looking at this the wrong way. Lets say Joe, Suzy and Bob all enter shirts at the exact same time... over the next 7 days, they rate each others designs 4 because they all did such a great job. After the 7 days, do you think Threadless is really only going to print ONE of their shirt designs if all 3 designs are great and well executed??? we aren't here to take away from each other, we are here to contribute to each other through criticism that hopefully helps and ideas that hopefully motivate creative output. I for one don't consider the general Threadless "competition" a competition at all... it's more of a hazing rite that you have to go through, and if you make it through alright, you get your design put on a fancy piece of fabric for a thousand strangers to wear.

Does my view that we aren't competing with each other (other than Loves Threadless) make any sense to you guys and girls??

Okay, so I keep having to submit my work in .gif format because whenI try to move my files from Illustrator over to Flash, they get all jacked up. Is there some basic loop hole I should be jumping through that I don't know about?

Threadless addiction. I spend countless hours staring into my monitor, or reading something abstract, just hoping for an idea to pop into my head for the perfect t-shirt design. Does anyone else on here thinking all day long about threadless and possible shirts that could make it to print?? I don't know why I don't just print them myself at my shop... I guess the feedback and community that Threadless provides is more fuel for motivation than the money you'd make off printing some of this yourself. So my question to you is this:

Is anyone else losing sleep over trying to think of a great, unique, and funny shirt idea??

I'm really excited about my newest submission. "The Truth about the Bunny"... I think it's probably one of my funnier ideas that makes fun of a mascot to a small extent. It's hard to do stuff like this without hitting copyright probs, so I hope it's all good on that end of things.

Eventually I gotta get off my butt and redo that National Jedi Association shirt idea... I should have a lot more submissions showing, but I seem to have a knack for barely hittnig the copyrights. Stupid copyrights...
