Am I the only person who's been met with a " OMG Clothing is undergoing routine maintenance.
In the meantime, check out the printed OMG products, available at Threadless.com" message at OMGClothing.com for the last 3 or 4 days? What's the deal?
If your design is picked, who picks what colour shirts it's printed on? Do you have to pick a single colour for that shirt?
Hey everyone, it's the last day to vote on my tee "Hanging Free", and I'd really appreciate if you went and took a look, left some comments (and obviously voted me pretty high, but that's up to you).
Hanging Free Thanks a lot! I'm interested in what you have to say about it.
I looked back through the forum and didn't see an answer to this, so i thought i'd ask - what's the protocol on designs using trademarked characters?
I ask, because I've come up with a design that uses a recognisable figure, and I'm not sure whether I should submit it. I know there have been shirts like Dark Side of the Garden printed, I'm just curious as to how close a character can come to the real version before it doesn't stand a chance of being printed. I noticed there was a design using Waldo (or as we Brits call him, Wally) - http://threadless.com/submission/43913/Missing - would something like this get printed? Hopefully you'll get what I'm trying to ask here. Your thoughts?
My new design's out of the running now, but I only got two comments before it was dropped. I'd appreciate it if anyone here would like to say what they thought. I know it's a simple design, but I'd appreciate the feedback. Or you can not leave any, it's okay.
EXP Thanks!
I've noticed that some of the photos for the shirts that were printed show a small printed label on the inside of the neck with a little design relevant to the shirt. Is this made by Threadless or does the artist get to design this too?
Is there a better way of getting feedback from the Threadless site? One of my designs was rejected for being too large (despite that I've seen larger in the running), so I asked if there were any templates that showed a 15*15 inch area, so I'd know how big to make things. I haven't got anything back though.
Has anyone else tried to contact the site with questions, or does anyone have an answer for me? I poked around the site looking for something but to no avail. Thanks!
Man, I hope Threadless is good to me. I have a whole bunch of ideas, but really I just want to get some drawings out there and see what people think.
It's kind of difficult submitting stuff, I'm still not sure how to judge how big is too big, and things like submitting improved versions of shirts is a little vague too. I'll just have to see how things go, I guess. Come to think of it, I don't even know where this blog entry is ending up. Hm. |
