so i bought my girlfriend-ish girl a dozen longstem roses because on thursday morning i pissed her off pretty good right before she left for bend. i didnt know what her favorite flower was, so i went with a classic.

my question is:

what are your favorite flowers/ what should you get someone for an occassion like this?

or

girls like flower?

i don't know anything about flowers, but a mixed bag of flowers are pretty? roses are okay too, i guess. i can't help but feel they're only classic because they're more expensive, so that in some way shows you care. roses are kind of boring-looking flowers.

I don't like flowers, but I once got some kind of orange long-stemmed dealie from a guy I dated. He knew that my favorite color is orange, so it was very nice.

i like daisies too.

and i am from the school of thought that roses are WAY over played.

but i believe sometimes girls, even cool ones, like roses. sometimes.

roses are ok. red ones are fine, but white or yellow are better

i've been happy when randomly receiving roses in the past, regardless of my previous statement. so i guess they're a safe bet.

yeah, I should say I am ecstatic regardless of the type of flowers i receive.. its such a rare occasion.

of course should also mention that roses arent as good as an apology

Yeah, flowers in place of an apology is like...I dunno, but it doesn't usually work.

I don't need gimmicks to win a lady over.

Only a highly defined crotch bulge.

my favorites are yellow roses or stargazer lilies.
my granddad got my grandmother yellow roses on their first date and that became their thing, he got her yellow roses on every anniversary, they had them at their wedding, and the only flowers at his funeral were yellow roses (they mean "friendship" btw)
although red roses are classic I think it's nice to have a special flower. I also like gardenias, you can get them boxed in a set of three and then put them floating in water.
I think the best gift is live flowers though because they last a long time and it's better for the environment. Orchids are beautiful and are easy to care for. Go for orchids :)

One thing that doesn't work, is a Toblerone done the pants.

People think I had a robotic penis.

Which is kinda cool now that I think of it.

danielle, of course they take effort, but i mean they last a long time and stand up well in summer months

my parents have been able to keep up the same 10 orchids for about 5 years now, and considering they are rarely ever home I'd say that means they are decently easy lol

I can't afford to keep my heat high enough to keep orchids alive in the winter.

i apologized later that morning.

i tried to get some daddy lions, but they are very expensive, what with all the formalities of bringing one over from africa and all.
