The glory of the human mind. Imagine what could happen if we could control the ammount of brain stimuli we could use to do things... wow I make alot of sence.

i was watching this thing on discovery health about musical savants and followed the story of two autistic people, both guys one like 27 and one 12 or something, they played the piano l ike perfectly...and could play anything by just hearing it, since they were both blind.

savants are pretty incredible.. I can't even begin to imagine how much we can learn about the brain from people like this.

I doubt hed be any good at designing shirts, drawing what youve seen photographically and creating something that works on a t-shirt are very different things. He is amazing though.

My sister is also autistic so it's usually pretty interesting.

My friend's half brother is autistic...he's fairly high-functioning, but his social skills and IQ are pretty terrible. But he knows the directions to practically anywhere in the US and all the best routes -- if you name a place he's never been to 5 states away, he'll instantly know how to get there. He also has a sort of perpetual calendar in his head, where he instantly knows what day of the week any day in the past was. His memory's pretty insane, too -- he'll randomly ask one of my friend's siblings "on (some day like 5 years ago), why did you get vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate?"

One time I went out to eat with my friend and her family, and about a month later, he said to her "I can't decide if I'm jealous about the chicken gyro Coryn got at dinner."

wow...he really is like a camera...not only can he memorize/draw perfectly, he never gets tripped up by any sort of optical illusions (like how high the hills of Rome are)

I'd love to see him go on a drinking binge. Chugs five beers and is like "hey, I just lost New York city."
