Funny, I saw that tutorial before but didn't notice the second example. Pretty neat.. I use different methods of choosing colors, since we're limited to 5. But we could try something like that using the eyedropper to select colors from paintings. I recommend sampling at 3x3 pixels instead of the default 1px.

its important to note that the original photos would have looked far better if they were



A) not shit

B) edited properly.



Both are underexposed and need sharpening and maybe a little colour editing.

^ very true bananaphone, but it doesnt just improve the quality of the pictures, it also can be used to give style to your picture which would otherwise be very difficulty of impossible to do with just a camera.
