The Voice Mailbox Spotlight is on : little g She is taking it easy from all kinds of things including the Blog Forum so her body can rest. She's had doctors do all kinds of tests on her, but no one knows what's wrong. So let's leave her some messages so when she gets back in the swing of things there's a pile of messages to cheer her up. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Click on her username to access her voice mailbox which is embedded in her "All about me" column If you want to leave her a message but don't have a microphone, then check this out : Mr. Technology, kevinwells, has showed us how to easily reverse our headphones so they function as a microphone (!) Here's what he said : "technically speaking, if you take a regular set of headphones and plug it into your microphone jack, you can actually use them as a microphone. there is very little fundamental difference between microphones and speakers, they just normally work in opposite directions. it helps if you have bigger headphones, as tiny earbud headphones tend to not work very well. i just tried it out, and it works great. it's a wee bit quiet though, so just speak up. " So if you don't have a microphone, then ... 1 ) -- get your headphones and plug them into the microphone jack on your computer 2 ) -- be sure to read kevinwells blog so you don't end up leaving a message so faint that no one can hear it. 3 ) -- go to the person's Voice mailbox by clicking on their username above 4 ) -- click on the voice mailbox button - this will take you to the recording page ( its pretty self explanatory when you get there ) 5 ) -- record your message by talking into the ear pieces of your headphones. 6 ) -- after recording your message hit the Send Message button and you're done !
