Here's info from kevinwells about how he does it : - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - VERY INTERESTING FACT FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE MICROPHONES technically speaking, if you take a regular set of headphones and plug it into your microphone jack, you can actually use them as a microphone. there is very little fundamental difference between microphones and speakers, they just normally work in opposite directions. it helps if you have bigger headphones, as tiny earbud headphones tend to not work very well. i just tried it out, and it works great. it's a wee bit quiet though, so just speak up. also, many times your soundcard software has the option to amplify your mic input drastically, which would really help. i notice people tend to leave crazily-quiet message that i have to crank my speakers up all the way to hear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Feel free to say, " Awesome ! $5 ( five dollars ) " ( or whatever you want )
