I have...five t-shirts from threadless now, all different colors. My latest, Take a Hike felt noticeably smaller than the other four. I've heard that different colors are smaller/bigger than normal, what with this sale coming up I was wondering if you've experienced this color/size shift. I'm on the small side of a girly M, so if a shirt color tends to be larger than normal I'll go for a small.

That paragraph sounds much more complicated than it needs to be. But, anyone?

I'm thinkin' Blythed might be the most suited to answer this :P

well i mean, t-shirts (like almost all clothing items) are constructed by hand and sewing machine, not fabricated by some sort of robot machine. so all the shirts are going to be slightly different, depending on who made it and what they ate for breakfast that morning

but girly shirts are small. buy a medium if its too big shrink it in the dryer

yea...different shirt colors have different sizings and shrinkage for me.

the only ones that seem to have a noticably different size for me are the brown shirts...they always seem a bit bigger than the others

i was actually wondering the same thing as the original poster. i too am on the small side of a girls medium

i have a brown med. shirt thats a little smaller than a turquoise med. shirt, but it doesnt' bother me much. the good thing is I think I can probably wear either a small or a medium, so during the sale if something i want is only in small i'd probably still get it

It's the same for me...It seems as if the darker colors fit better for me and are larger than my lighter colored shirts which fit smaller.

but women's shirts are AA so who knows...

Thus far, all of the shirts I've bought have been small for the men's XLs they are. That and after first washing/drying, they're more larges than XLs.

..."more larges" as in "more like larges".
