 So it's true: Threadcakes was an absurd success. Over 250,000 visitors, well over 1M pageviews, 9,851 (15 GB!) of photos, 595 entries... this was madness. And I couldn't have enjoyed running it more. So as a bit of an encore (or a second serving, since we have other things in store), Charlie Festa and I have been working on a new contest with a few other Threadless-ers: Behold: Threadknits.com. I am *still* ironing out prizing details (we've split the categories into knitting vs. crochet) but grand prize is looking like it'll be $500 cash monies, a 12-club membership AND a retail art panel. OH: And ReadyMade and knitting goodies. Insanity! Festa will be dropping this in the newsletter soon, but I wanted to give some of the low-down right here. Hey guys. As everyone knows, the Threadcakes contest is running and the entries have been AMAZING.

If no one guesses the exact number, closest UNDERbid (think Price Is Right) gets it. We'll know right around August 3rd, when you'll probably need to email me to remind me that I owe someone $25.
