i look through the subs and quite a few are "i dont get it" even maybe the one i just submitted can be classed there. Does it matter? can good design overcome "getting it" does there have to be a underlying concept? hmmm

I like to get something immediately...the purely artsy shirts I'm just not crazy about although they certainly have their place on Threadless.

But if something's clever, funny or cute I want to be able to understand it immediately...s'pecially since it's intended for a t-shirt...ya dont want people staring at your chest forever with a confused look on their face...

and if its a really cool shirt they will be staring at your chest anyway, maybe with a different expresion

I think if its on the boarder line of understanding, it should at least have really good design elements, so that the people that might not get it, will still like the style and colors and things like that.

why would you care if other people "get" your shirt? and who gives a shit if people stare at your shirt in an odd manner? why not just buy abercrombie shirts that spell it out for you?
