I think I've seen people ask this before, so I'm sorry if this is repetetive. I just got my score back for my first submission "a show of hands" and my score was 2.63. Is that good? I did have 127 comments, so I thought that wsa cool.

Though things may have changed a bit recently, it wasn't long ago that shimala noted the average score was 1.7 and that anything around 2.7 is pretty amazing. Soak in the success and aim for that 3.0 barrier...

you know how people were getting offended over the use of the word "asshole" on your submission... well "douche" would work just as well, but "douche" doesnt seem like such a obscene word. and alot of people dont even know what it is...

I would send all of my shirts back to Threadless if they ever printed something like that.

KatietheMofo: Why would you do that? Is this shirt that completely offensive to you? I've seen much worse shirts being worn around.

its a pretty freaking good score i think, although i doubt something like this would ever get printed. I have yet to see any real political issue themed shirts printed on threadless. too much controversy i suppose. but maybe that is just what threadless needs. a FOOD FIGHT!

I love to see response on a political message....whether it is for or against my political beliefs. Why, do you ask? Because that is the ONE basic inaliable right we have as Americans...the freedom of speech.

With that being said, I am so thrilled to see a BOLD political message here on Threadless. It usually appears as though the designers who have submitted things in the past have held back from their true feelings (except "Mess With Texas") ....so as not to offend anyone. Well, guess what folks? Political messages that go against your views will almost always be offensive to you....whether or not a "naughty" word is used in the process.

Volksie, I give you credit for having strong feelings...and I look forward to whatever new political messages you have in store for us.

Oh, and for all the "Shrub" supporters out there, and those who support all his views and ideologies: Bush himself used the very same word "asshole" to describe a reporter he didn't like...the irony of it all, he didn't know his microphone was on at the time... if you intended to use his own very words against him Volksie, well a job well done, my friend....

The design is great. I especially like the feeling that I'm looking at an old-time political poster or something of the like. Actually, it has a bit of the old communistic design feel too... that vintage look is hard to capture but you have done well by it.
