I'm a perpetual student in Kingston, Ontario. I'm a history student who specializes in Russian and Eastern European history... but I'm also interested in topics such as: revolutionary history & thought, globalization, the welfare state, development, the middle east, and more.

Art is a lifelong passion and hobby, although I realized after high school that I don't have enough talent to make it a career. I still paint when I find the time, and my books are covered with elaborate doodles. Art galleries are sexy and I plan on meeting the man of my dreams in the Centre Pompidou one day.

I also dig music (favourites include Metric, !!!, The Shins, Air, Elliott Smith, etc) and travelling... I'm going to Jordan & Syria next summer and the following winter I'm going to Russia.
