I have spent 232.50 United States Dollars on 16 t-shirts in the past year. That works out to be 374.031 New Zealand Dollars based on the current exchange rates.
NEARLY $400! True, if I buy something somewhat designerish - like a good pair of jeans and a sweet hody, I'd be looking at about $280 for both... BUT $370 on t-shirts!!! Good things my parents don't see my budget anymore. What about you guys? Have you got the addiction as well?
...when people not only post comments such as "nope!' or "this sucks" or "ewwww, gross" on someone else's submission, but when they actually rip into the quality of the drawing etc saying that it looks like children could do a better job and so on, and then, when you link through to their profile, they haven't submitted anything, or what they HAVE submitted is a gajillion times worse than what they've just been verbally dismantling.
hahahahahaha, you people are hilarity in a bottle. At least bottlesandcans had talent. he was rude but he had talent. it's called constructive criticism... it's be amazing if instead of just yelling "POOOOOO! looks like POOOO!" you'd consider what it is you really dislike about the submission and write that down. Have i made that clear enough you little high school stuck-up-you-own-asses twits? still feeling high and mighty oh kings and queens of the internet that you are? no offense or anything, i just get sick of seeing a decent submission - nothing amazing, but nothing uber crap either, with a whole heap of stupid petty comments made by power-tripping 15 year olds who have yet to prove any artistic talent on their behalf. much love, Luci
hey dudes - i currently have a submission in the running "it's all about the benjamins" and i've only got four bens and i was wondering if y'all could suggest more bens to go on it cos i want as many fomr as wide a public spectrum as possible.
any help is brilliant - you can link to the submission off of my profile page... still haven't figured out how to stick pistures into blogs. so not net savvy... anyway, yeah! thanks for the help guys, i really appreciate it! about The Morning After
well, i think that as of this last weekend, i am in dire need of a t-shirt such as this.thanks to a messy friday night whereby i fell asleep on the floor of a friend's bathroom after following in the footsteps of our clown friend, my parents are currently questioning my alcohol intake, and, as one of them is the child of a now deceased raging alcoholic, i find this mildly amusing and disturbing at the same time. must buy this t-shirt and show up to a sunday dinner wearing it and complaining of a hangover... about Zombie Donkey
i can't believe i just omg'ed...this is the most amazing t-shirt ever. if it gets reprinted i will honestly buy five... and then pretend to be a zombie for a whole week... well, three days max. reprint? pwease?
am i going insane or do there seem to be a huge number of:
1- pandas 2-"emo" references 3-LOVE HEARTS in the submissions.... there have also been quite a few star wars ones but i'm not complaining about those cos i like starwars. a lot. like, a big lot, more than nutella. why can't people do something else? or like, wait a while before submitting their newest emo-panda with loveheart design so that i don't look at it, sigh and give it a crappy score cos i've seen a very similar design two subs prior....
hi guys and gals - i'm reasonably new to threadless and i was wondering if y'all could help me out with a few queries...
ok, just one - i want to know if there's anyway i can see what my current score/rating is for my submissions while they're being scored. is it possible to do this cos gosh dang i hope it is... fanks. about Dark Side of the Garden
Man - such an awesome shirt... and indecision caused me to miss out on it by like *makes pinching motion with fingers* this much.It would have been perfect for my mother too - she'd have loved it cos my entire family are total sci-fi geeks and mum is an avid gardener. I really hope it gets reprinted |
I'm working as the ad designer for Otago Uni's student magazine Critic. Also finishing off the last few papers of my Design studies/Theatre studies BA. w00t!
I love aioli mayo and fries, all day movie sessions, the smell of tea tree oil, small critters, when my feet and hands go prune-like from being in water too long, taking photos, doodling, picking my nose in private, auction houses, second-hand thrift stores, road trips, snowboarding until my feet go numb (doesn't take long), and hanging out with my little brother and sister, getting them really hyper, and then letting my parents try and put them to bed.
