The New Plaid is something I would buy. No offense to the Designer. But the new plaid is printable, this feather design not so much (yes I do get the design). I know it took some time to do it (or maybe not) but there got to be something more to a design than this. Anyway just my two cents

i agree with you. this is totally not my "cup of tea" if you will. and now that you have disagreed with a shirt, i'm warning you that you have subjected yourself to endless bashing.

people on this website don't seem to respect people with their own opinions, so ... you know be prepared to be called "stupid" and "tasteless".

i've got your back though. i don't like this shirt much at all.

You are stupid and tasteless.
Actually, your opinions taste like shit after someone has pissed on it and let it sit out in the hot hot desert sun for a week or two.
But enough of me being sweet and cuddly with ya.

I actually don't agree with you on this one, but i can see where you are coming from. I waged a similiar war against the "Labor Day" submission a few months back, as if drawing a pretty standard and boredom inducing object such as a lawn chair incredibly well somehow should have ended up on a t-shirt and why people insisted it was a brilliant move. I don't feel that way about this print, as I love the unique placement of this beautifully rendered feather, as if it had just fallen off a mythical flying creature and embedded itself into your new plain black tee. I really can't wait to wear this one, and as a person who usually asks for much more cleverness and hilarity in their shirts, I can see how others might not dig the ideas behind this one.

But like i said, what the f*ck do you know about this concept with a rancid-smelling opinion like yours. Good day to you.

i like it, but i'm not going to bash you for not liking it. i mean, there's stuff on here that I don't like, but others DO like. so yeah. doesn't matter. but yeah i like it because its very simplistic and elegant. it is aesthetically pleasing. and i dunno, maybe i'm just partial to it because i'm a girl. and its slightly more feminine in design. either way. adios!

i think its a good design because it actually looks good on a shirt

a lot of the designs printed would work better on the sunday comic than they do on a piece of clothing

Don't care for it either. I like fashionable shirts, but this is too plain. I like humor thats thought provoking. Again we are all entitled to think what we want.

This is how I feel as well. While some of the "funny" shirts are alright, too many of them are just dumb puns or cliched pop culture references. It's good that they mix it up every once in a while with other stuff.

The designs on threadless can be grouped into several categories: First the easiest, slogans - I don't even need to explain this one. Second, my personal favourites: animated inanimate objects, for example, Party Pieces, or Nothign Rhymes with Orange.
Then there's the graphic, clever designs - often look quite modern, and generally have a more - this is a guys shirt feel about them - example: Moneyshot, that new one with the soldiers with instruments.
Finally you have my least favourite group, the swirly, artsy things group. This t-shirt falls into that group. Sure it's well drawn, but it's not particularly interesting, or clever. The tee with the flying machines and bikes in the sky etc was also one of these.

Designs shouldn't be divided in categories for they are spontaneous and random.

but you can't deny they travel in packs. they are all very special in their own way but there are clear groups.
